Tiwa Savage called out for allegedly neglecting rising female singers, Ayra Starr and Tems in the music industry
Tiwa Savage has been called out by a Twitter user for being one of the major pioneers of the tag, “Women Support Women”, but has allegedly purposely neglected the achievements of her junior colleagues, Ayra Starr and Tems. Could it be she feels insecure and sees them as competition?
Tems and Ayra Starr have made significant waves in the entertainment industry since their signing and fellow celebrities have wasted no time to acknowledge their efforts but Tiwa Savage has not done much to support these rising stars, as observed by a social media user, @ManLikeIcey.
@ManLikeIcey is of the opinion that since Tiwa Savage is one of the top female musicians in Nigeria, she should do well to show her support to Tems and Ayra Starr, like Wizkid and Davido gave to other talented singers.
He wrote;
“Tiwa Savage has never acknowledged Ayra Starr and Tems for their current wave, she steadily talks about “Women support Women”. Wizkid and Davido have acknowledged Rema and Fireboy series of times by the way”.
His claim was however faulted by many who claimed that the mother of one actually supported the singers in her own way.
