Actress Adenike Adegboye cries out for financial assistance as she battles an undisclosed illness

Veteran actress, Adenike Adegboye, popularly known as Iya Ibeji is currently battling an undisclosed illness and is soliciting financial assistance and prayers from the public.

Iya Ibej’s health status was made known by her junior colleague Foluke Daramola who called on the public for financial support and prayers.

Foluke posted a video from her visit to the ailing Yoruba actress on Instagram on July 5. 

In the video, Iya Ibeji is seen begging for support alongside the actress.

In the post tagged “With iya ibeji omo arayele”, the 44-year-old appealed to Nigerians to pray for Iya Ibeji and also urged them to make financial contributions that would help with the treatment.

In more recent post, Foluke Daramola posted a video from her hospital visit to the veteran, adding she was getting better. She also presented gifts and money to her.

She went on to urge other Nigerians interested in helping to do so.

Adenike Adegboye starred in movies inclding Ẹ̀kọ ìbílẹ̀, Ìyá Àgan, Omo Araye Le and Ọya Gbàjarè.
