Actress Beverly Afaglo Lost her House and Properties to Fire Outbreak
Actress Beverly Afaglo and her husband, Choirmaster were hit by a devastating occurrence. The couple took to their Instagram accounts to share the sad news of how their house and entire properties was burnt down by raging fire within just 4hours.
Beverly Afaglo said she lost everything to the fire outbreak, leaving with only the clothes she had on before leaving the house. She said that her kid’s room burnt to ashes as well including their clothes but there was no casualties. She however did not give information on the cause of the outbreak.
She wrote, “My house burnt down to ashes within 4hrs …… Everything gone, my passports, clothes, shoes, bags, wigs, jewelry, perfumes, my furniture, my kitchen everything gone.
My kid’s room and all their clothes everything is gone. I’m left with what I wore out that’s all. Thank God there are no casualties but where do I start from? “
Beverly said the Fire Service got there on time but for over 40minutes, they couldn’t go inside because of the heavy smoke. She said they kept deliberating until another set came, which was worse than the first because they came with a generator that could not start. She said the last set that came had to go from a neighbor’s house to the back of her house to put off the fire and by then it was already too late.
She called on the Ghanian government to set their priorities right and help fix the issues in the country.
Beverly narrated, “The fire service got in on time but over 40mins they couldn’t go inside because of the heavy smoke (I was wondering why they don’t have protective gears for smoke gosh) they stood there deliberating and another came and that was the worse, they had to use a generator but it couldn’t start which also took a while, then another came which went thru a neighbour’s house to the back of the house and started putting off the fire but it was too late.
My mum, the kids’ nanny, the kids and I are all left with nothing. This country let’s stop doing partisan politics and set our priorities right and stop the misplaced priorities. Ghana hmmmmmm”.
She also shared a video of the house which was badly damaged. Nonetheless, all thanks be to God that no casualties were involved.
