Actress Destiny Etiko survives car accident while returning from colleague’s burial
Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko survived a car accident while returning from her colleague, Stanley Okoro’s burial.
According to reports, the movie star and her colleague Kevin Ovo were passengers in the car when it collided with a mass transit bus.
Pictures of the heavily damaged car which apparently belongs to a producer, Kevin Uvo was shared on Etiko’s Instagram page as she revealed that they were on their way back from Stanley Okoro’s burial when they got involved in the accident.
However, they survived the accident but it still remains unclear the degree of injuries they sustained from the accident.
News of Stanley Okoro’s death on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, came as a shock to everyone because he had just completed a movie shoot in Enugu State.
After the movie shoot, Stanley went back to Owerri, Imo State where he resides, but a few days after his arrival, the poison allegedly started having an effect on him. He took ill and was vomiting black liquid. He also complained of chest burns before he collapsed.
Friends and neighbours who ran to his aid rushed him to the hospital, but he gave up the ghost shortly after.
According to his family, Stanley was an easy-going man who was down to earth. They said they weren’t aware of any problem that might have led to him being poisoned and eventually killed.
But reports have it that the late actor had an obsession with food and he indulged in it a lot. The last post he made on his Instagram page simply proved this fact. He made the post after he had finished eating with the caption, “If the money wey you get no fit solve your problem, my brother chop.”
