Actress Toyin Abraham Opens GoFundMe Account For ill Colleague, Kemi Afolabi
Nigerian actress Toyin Abraham has opened a GoFundMe account for her colleague, Kemi Afolabi who is battling an incurable disease.
Recall Kemi Afolabi earlier revealed in an interview with Chude Jideonwo that she’s battling with Lupus, a disease that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks tissues and organs. Afolabi also said her doctor told her she has only 5years to live and she already used one year.
Afolabi revealed that she spent N1.2 million on medications weekly to manage the illness, adding that she had sold her cars, property, and business to afford the treatment.
Sadly, she had also written her will and even booked a space at ebony vault (a cemetery in Lagos) in preparation for her death, after she was diagnosed with the ailment.
Posting a video of the interview, Abraham called on her fans to support Afolabi with their donations.
“Please fam if you noticed I stopped doing this long ago but I have to do this for my friend, sister, and colleague. Kindly support us by clicking the link in my bio for the GoFundMe or you can use the Nigeria account below.
