After Six Years In Prison, American Rapper Bobby Shmurda Set To Be Released.

American rapper Ackquille Pollard professionally known as Bobby Shmurda set to be released from prison in February 2021, after serving his full jail time.

The 26 years old rapper pleaded guilty in connection with his membership in the GS9 gang of East Flatbush. The rapper was sentenced to a maximum of 7 years in prison for conspiracy and weapons possession at the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora in upstate New York.

Bobby was arrested in 2014 in Midtown, New York, outside a recording studio. The police were said to have found two guns and crack cocaine in his car upon arrest.

The New York Police department has announced that he was up for parole in September but was denied due to disciplinary actions for his behavior while in prison.

They also went on to say that bobby was tentatively scheduled for release on December 11, 2021. Still, he is now eligible for release on February 23. and will serve the rest of his sentence on parole through December 11, 2021.
