AGN President promises to go after Tonto Dikeh’s ex-boyfriend, Prince Kpokpogri
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas has promised to go after Isoko politician, and ex-boyfriend of Tonto, Prince Kpokpogiri for recording and releasing Tonto Dikeh’s private conversation after their messy breakup, likewise his threats to release her nude pictures.
The AGN president promised to make example of Tonto Dikeh’s recent breakup with Prince Kpokpogiri. Rollas in an Instagram post said that an example will be made to serve as a deterrent to persons including bloggers for profiling members of the guild.
“Events of the last few days have shown that actresses are now marked for blackmail especially hinging it on the basis of a relationship gone awry. But should it be a reason for publishing private conversations without the consent of the other party,” Rollas wrote.
“We shall use this one to set an example to serve as a deterrent to all other persons including bloggers presently profiling actresses for blackmail to have a rethink. We will no longer fold our hands and watch our members taken to public ridicule via invasion of privacy.”
Rollas also notified the public and blog handlers that the guild is looking into cases of members who call out other members and bring disrepute to the guild.
“We are also looking into cases where our certified members have taken to social media to call fellow members out or make statements that can bring disrepute to our Guild or cause disharmony among members.”
Rollas had earlier declared that Nollywood is not a dumping ground for Big Brother Naija’s evicted housemates. He made this known after the eviction of the four housemates, Peace, Tega, Boma and Michael, from the ongoing BBNaija season six reality show, especially after Boma and Tega linked their promiscuity in the house to acting according to script.
Nonetheless, the Tonto-Kpokpogri saga only got messier by the day as Tonto obtained a petition against Kpokpogri, accusing him of extortion, blackmail and threat to life. The petition demands that police probe the politician lover for a variety of allegations, including criminal defamation, hacking, cyberstalking. She further claimed that he took N8m from her under false pretence but only refunded N6m.
