Alexx Ekubo and Fiancée Fancy Acholonu reportedly split 3 months to their wedding
Social media has been buzzing with rumours of Alex Ekubo and his fiancée, Fancy Acholonu allegedly breaking up just 3months to their much-awaited wedding.
Fancy Acholonu was engaged to be married to top Nigerian actor, Alex Ekubo. Alex kept his relationship out of public glare as much as possible and ended up surprising his fans and the public at large with the news of his engagement to Fancy.
Ekubo and Acholonu first sparked dating rumours back in 2018 with sizzling pictures for her jewelry brand campaign. The rumours were, however, left unconfirmed till Alex made the big announcement on his Instagram page.
He posted a picture of himself and his lover with the caption, “I asked the love of my life @fancyacholonu to marry me….”
Fancy also responded with pictures from the engagement, with the caption “… I said yes to the love of my life @alexxekubo”.
Months later, the duo announced that their traditional marriage was scheduled to hold for November 20th and their white wedding in Lagos on November 27, only for speculations of their breakup to start making the rounds on all platforms.
According to reports, Fancy called off the engagement and deleted their joint Instagram page, FalexxForever. She also unfollowed the movie star on Instagram, even though he still follows her.
However, Alex still has photos and videos from their proposal and engagement party on his Instagram page and hasn’t given any official statement with regards to the breakup rumours.
