“Am not scared to speak the truth so I say it Raw”- Unremorseful Shatta Wale tells Nigerian artistes
Ghanian Rapper, Shatta Wale has maintained his stance against Nigerian entertainers, despite the backlashes and tongue lashing he has been receiving since he made the hideous comments against Nigerian artistes.
Shatta Wale who sounded agitated while performing at the maiden edition of his #FreedomWave stated, “I just want to speak my mind. Do you know that majority of people in the Ghana music industry are fools?
They told me I wouldn’t sell out the stadium but see it now. I don’t need any Nigerian artistes to sell out my concerts. F** k Nigerian artistes”.
His rants triggered a lot of mixed reactions on social media with some Nigerian entertainers refuting his controversial claims while others affirmed.
Affirming to Shatta Wale’s claims, a Nigerian journalist championed Shatta Wale’s rants that the Ghanaian music industry has refused less support from Nigerians but the Nigerian music industry has gained a lot from Ghanaian musicians and other countries.
The journalist stated that there hasn’t been any day a Nigerian musician has called on a Ghanaian musician to co-headline their shows, yet Ghanaians have always shown love and support to Nigerian music.
He asserted that Nigerian musicians need to do more for Ghanaian musicians in terms of support and love just as they’ve received from them and other countries over the years.
Having backed his assertions, Shatta Wale came back boldly stating, “God no go shame us ….These are the real people I see in Nigeria …When people talk like this ,I see God blessing them soon. Thank you Mr Journalist”.
On his Twitter page, Wale also stated that he is not scared to say the truth, neither does he mind being insulted.
Taking to his Twitter, he wrote;
“Am not scared to speak the truth so I say it Raww as it is … If you like insult me ,my mama,my papa,my fans …still I will say it hard in your face …. Nobody bigger than God in my world. You are just a tiny little being thinking you control your life …You lieeeeee..#Godfirst”.
