American Rapper Nicki Minaj Yet To Respond To Her Father’s Death.

American rapper Nicki Minaj has lost her father, Robert Maraj. Nicki’s father was said to have passed on after a hit-and-run driver killed him over the weekend. 

According to a spokesperson for the Nassau County Police Department, 64 years old Robert Maraj, 64, was hit by a car on Friday night February 12 at 6:15 p.m. East African Time.

Maraj was taken to a hospital immediately after the accident and was placed on, but he was pronounced dead on Saturday. The police also revealed that “The investigation is ongoing.”

Though Nicki Minaj is yet to publicly address her father’s death, In 2010, during an interview with Rolling Stone, Nicki revealed her father once set fire to their home with her mother inside. 

She also accused him of being violent towards her mother on several occasions.

“I remember when my mother would let my father be violent with her and she always brings up this story about when I was a little girl and I would stand in front of my mother.”
