American Singer Adele And Her Ex-Husband Simon, After Two Years Of Separation, Finalizes Their Divorce Settlement.

American singer Adele and her ex-husband Simon Konecki finally arrived at a divorce settlement after two years of announcing their separation.

Adele and Simon started dating back in 2011, and in October 2012, they welcomed their son Angelo Adkins. Four years later (2016), they had a secret wedding.

In April 2019, the couple had announced they were getting a divorce and going their separate ways. The singer filed for court documents, giving the reason why they have decided to split.

In 2019, Adele’s representative said in a statement: “Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always, they ask for privacy.”

Adele had filled in the divorce documents five months after they both announced their separation. The couple was said to have filed the terms of their divorce settlement in court today, Friday, January 15.

The ex-couple were reportedly said to have used the mediation format to work out the details of how their properties and debts would be shared even though they both share custody of their son Angelo.

Before their divorce settlement was finalized, Adele and Simon had finished working on their divorce processes. Still, they were only waiting for the judge to sign off on the paperwork to end their marriage officially.

In April 2019, Adele had requested the Los Angeles court to keep the details of her £140million ($171 million) divorce private.

A source revealed that: “Hollywood divorces can drag on for years and become extremely ugly. Adele and Simon clearly don’t want that.”

“They are both committed to keeping the details as private as possible for the sake of their son. They are trying to work out their issues.”

“She talks about [2019] as a very difficult year, and she’s said in the past that creating new music is almost like therapy. You can tell that she is ready to share with her fans.”
