Bandits had last week, invaded some villages in Anka and Bukkuyum local government areas of the state killing over 58 persons which had raised concern over the security challenges both home and abroad.

He added that in the last few years, a lot has been done in addressing the security challenges in the country, and more resources, community mobilization, support is needed to total eradicate the terrorists.
In his remarks, Governor Masari noted that while the government is carrying out its part in ensuring that it curtails the security challenges, the masses should complement them by providing reliable information to authorities to enable them to fish out the perpetrators of the act.
“We are all in this together, nobody is left out. We must conquer, reclaim our territories,” the Katsina Governor said.
“We have no choice, we must stand up. We need to mobilise ourselves and cannot allow some few individuals to totally disrupt our own lives, kill us, destroy our economic fortunes.”
