APC Set for National Convention

In preparation for the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled to hold Saturday, March 26, at Eagle Square in Abuja, the party has released its program of events. 

The Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee for the APC 2022 National Convention and Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, disclosed this.

The program is as follows:

Meanwhile, the National Assembly caucus leaders have met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House on Thursday and agreed to produce a consensus of candidates for the coming general election.  

The Senate President Ahmed Lawan said the party is expected to put out a ‘Unity List’ today (Friday).

“We hope to achieve a consensus in selecting and electing the officers for the party. We are prepared to come up with a unity list,” Lawan said.
