Argentina through to World Cup final
Lionel Messi was at the center of it all, scoring one goal and assisting another as Argentina defeated Croatia 3-0 to progress to the final of World Cup taking place in Qatar.
Messi opened the scoring for the spot in the 34th minute, before youngster, Julian Alvarez made it two five minutes later.Â
After the break, Messi put up a trademark display to set Alvarez for a third goal, which was more than enough to see Argentina through to their sixth world cup final.
Still in search of a World Cup to add to his highly decorated career, Messi will lead Argentina out on Sunday for the final against the winner of the second semi final game between defending Champions, France and Morocco.Â
