Arsenal take lead to eight points with win over Crystal Palace

Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace a comfortable 4-1 to take their lead at the top of the Premier League table to eight points heading to the international break.

Goals from Martinelli, Saka and Xhaka helped Arsenal record their sixth consecutive victory in the league for the first time since 2003-04.

Arsenal have amassed 69 points from 28 matches, ahead of second-placed Manchester City, who are the reigning champions and have 61 points with a game in hand.

Mikel Arterta’s side will be back in action on April 1, when they take on Leeds United, one of their remaining 10 games left.
