Bankole Commends Tinubu over Appointments

A member of the National Working Committee of All Progressives Congress, Tolu Bankole applauded President Bola Tinubu for appointing Senator Ibrahim Hadejia and Femi Gbajabiamila to the positions of chief of staff and deputy chief of staff, respectively.

Bankole stated this in a statement issued in Abuja on Saturday,

Additionally, he applauded George Akume’s nomination as Secretary to the Government of the Federation after serving as the former Minister of Special Duties.

During their Friday meeting with the Progressive Governors Forum, the president announced the appointments.

The appointment was compared to round pegs in round holes by Bankole, who also serves as the National Leader of Persons with Disabilities.

He said, “Considering the sterling public and private sector profiles of all the appointees, which range from being Speaker of the House of Representatives to being a two-term governor and deputy governor, I have no doubt that the country will benefit immensely from their wealth of experience.

“The nation is yearning for an astute team of patriotic, selfless, visionary, and innovative statesmen headed by the president. I have no doubt that you will bring to bear these invaluable qualities in your new assignments.

“I am confident that you will add the baker’s dozen in deploying all your arsenals to help Mr President deliver on his Renewed Hope mandate to Nigerians. I look forward to robust engagements with you on behalf of Persons with Disabilities who expressed confidence in the new leadership through the overwhelming support given to the President at the last presidential election. I wish you all success serving our dear country in good health,” Bankole remarked.
