Barcelona legend, Gerard Pique, was treated to a befitting emotional send off as he made his final appearance at the Nou Camp in Barcé 2-0 win over Almeria at the Nou Camp.
The former Spanish international announced his decision on Thursday, despite having 18 months left on his deal.
The 35 year old was substituted in the 84th minute and tearfully embraced all his team-mates, manager, Xavi and the entire Barca bench.
The former United player came back on the pitch the game and gave a heartfelt farewell speech, before he got lifted by his team mates.
Pique, who grew through the youth ranks at Barcelona, scored 53 goals, won 30 trophies and made 616 appearances for the Spanish side after re-joining in 2008 from Manchester United.
