This week’s new HOH is actor and model, Boma. The 35-year-old housemate earned his spot by winning the HOH dice game on Monday evening.
Unlike the previous week, Big Brother instructed Boma to take 14 minutes to pick a fellow Housemate of the opposite gender as deputy, while other Housemates went ahead to prepare for the day’s nomination.
But Biggie had a twist to this nomination process. As you know, the wildcards have a nomination privilege and it has been revealed: only the wildcards were allowed to nominate the Housemates up for possible eviction this week.
Both Maria and Pere were asked to nominate four housemates each, excluding the Head of House and the other wildcard.
It was a tough choice but Maria nominated Beatrice, Yerins, Jaypaul, and Whitemoney. On the other hand, Pere nominated Beatrice, Whitemoney, Yerins, and Niyi.
However, the new Head of House, Boma had the veto power to save and replace a Housemate with another. Boma saved Jaypaul and replaced him with Yousef.
Recall that for this Shine Ya Eye’season, the HoH has the privilege to select a deputy, and other benefits include a HoH lounge, a private bathroom, living and bedroom area. Biggie also allowed unrestricted visitation to the HoH lounge for two days only as part of the celebration of the first week. But other housemates are not allowed to spend the night in the lounge.
Peace emerged as the winner of the first Head of House challenge, for which she picked Yousef as his deputy.
