BBNaija6: JMK, Sammie & Maria have been evicted

Last night’s Big Brother Naija season 6 Live Eviction Show left everyone shocked as most of the house favourites, including Big Brother’s wild card, was evicted.

To host the fifth Sunday Live Eviction Show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu turned up all glammed up as usual but this time in a ‘suit-trad-onesie’ designed by Vanskere. He looked all fashionably dashing to announce the Housemates leaving the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye season.

Before diving into the day’s business, Ebuka asked Liquorose why she didn’t pick Emmanuel to be her Deputy Head of House. As we guessed, she said she didn’t want him spending the night in the HOH lounge with someone else, while attesting that Emmanuel didn’t want that either.

Later on, the six Housemates who were up for eviction – Maria, Pere, JMK, Cross, Queen and Sammie – were asked to stand up for the eviction to kick off.

The first housemate to be evicted was JMK. During her post-eviction interview, JMK told Ebuka that she does not see her eviction as a loss but is rather pleased by how far she got in the competition. She also said she will miss Angel the most, having built friendship with her. Although JMK said that she will miss everyone in the house. She reserved special praise for Angel, Sammie, and even WhiteMoney with his food.

Up next was Sammie who said that he saw his own eviction coming. According to him, his relationship with Angel presently is just “vibing”. Sammie also indicated his interest in pursuing a relationship with her outside the house but said he is yet to make a decision.

In another surprising twist, Ebuka pulled the shocker when he named Maria as the last housemate to be evicted. Maria!? Like everyone inside and outside the house was surprised by the eviction. In her post-eviction show, Maria said she misses home because she hasn’t seen her family since the end of 2019 but it’s not like she wanted to leave the show. She also said she really likes Pere as a friend and there’s nothing to pursue outside the house. Maria considers relocating to Lagos and will set up a business in Abuja.
