BBNaija6 Liquorose clears the air on her relationship with Emmanuel
Viewers of the Big brother Naija reality show have been rooting for and speculating a possible love interest between Liquorose and Emmanuel but the badass dancer has shattered hopes of a possible relationship between herself and Emmanuel.
In the Diary Session on Tuesday, Liquorose confronted Emmanuel for suspecting her as one of the Wildcards, an action that dented their friendship. Though Liquorose said she has forgiven him, she can’t let go of the fact that a trusted friend like Emmanuel, whom she opened up to, could betray her like that.
During the discussion, Liquorose made it plain that she isn’t in a relationship with Emmanuel as earlier speculated, but she wanted to be sure of Emmanuel’s feelings towards her.
In what would have been a private matter between two close friends, the housemates intervened, giving their opinions about the matter. Pere told Emmanuel, “Don’t make people feel like they have a place in your heart when they really don’t. You don’t want to mess with a woman’s emotions. If you don’t like her, don’t pursue it, don’t give mixed signals.”
Maria also blamed Emmanuel for his lukewarn attitude towards Liquorose, especially after claiming that he really likes her.
Assuring Liquorose of Emmanuel’s feelings, Beatrice said, “He really likes you, but Emmanuel doesn’t speak much. Just let him be.”
Niyi also gave his opinion and urged the duo to find a common ground. After which Emmanuel apologised to Liquorose and promised increased support for her to make up for his wrongdoing.
Emmanuel and Liquorose later went to discuss the way forward and Liquorose revealed that what she feels for him is beyond friendship.
However, in a very recent development, Liquorose told her house besties; Nini, Maria and Saga on Wednesday afternoon that she is yet to commit to anything romantic with Emmanuel.
In another conversation with Sammie, Liquorose stated that Emmanuel paled in comparison to the men who have approached her over the years.
Despite the disagreement between Emmanuel and Liquorose, things seemed to have gotten better with the duo as Emmanuel was spotted giving her a nice massage after the art task yesterday
