Blessing CEO finally regains freedom after meeting bail conditions

Self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, known as Blessing CEO  has finally been released from detention after meeting her N10 million bail condition.

Blessing CEO was remanded in prison on April 1, 2023, for alleged cyber-bullying, libel, and for exhibiting uncensored movies.

The police also accused the blogger of using her Instagram handle @officialblessingceo, to harm the reputation of Folashade Samuels and the late Bimbo Ogbonna, by exposing them to hatred, contempt, and ridicule.

Accusing her also of exhibiting a film and video work titled “Sweet Sour” without a censorship certificate and without holding a licence as issued by National Film & Video Censors Board (NFVCB).

Okoro had pleaded not guilty. Following her no-guilty plea, Justice Yelim Bogoro ordered that she should be remanded at the Nigerian Correctional Services, NCoS, where she was granted N10 million bail in the absence of opposition from the prosecution, with two sureties in like sum.

However, due to her inability to meet the bail conditions, she was allegedly remanded in custody for over two weeks. Her unusual disappearance from social media also confirmed that she was still in jail.

Well, it seems Blessing has been released from prison as she has spoken out for the first time since the arrest.

She took to her Instagram page to appreciate her fans for the love while expressing that she was still in shock.

Sharing a photo of herself, she wrote,

“Child of grace ….

Thank you lovers …

Words fail me my hands still shaking ..

Long speech 🎤 coming …”

In a follow-up post, she shared a video of herself in a lovely red dress and said she missed all her fans and followers.

“I missed u all…..

Just use this video hold body cause I know u missed me too”.

Reacting, many opined that she should have learnt her lesson in remand and be cautious with her words while others refused to believe she has regained her freedom. See below:
