Reality TV star, Rebecca Hampson, aka Nengi took it upon herself to make sure that a young boy doesn’t drop out of school due to lack of finances, and the boy on his part made sure to prove he is worth the investment.
An Edo state boy, identified as Itua Raymond Etiosa said he had no money for his Senior exams registration but was rescued by Nengi and her fans who contributed to make sure he doesn’t miss out on this important aspect of his education.
The Edo State-native took to his micro-blogging platform, Twitter to share his WAEC result, revealing that he cleared all his papers. He also indicated, in his post, that before he wrote the exams, he had no money for registration, adding that he was helped by Nengi, and some of her fans, who also contributed money for him.
Expressing his joy, the young boy tagged Nengi, and two of Nengi’s fans, as well as a charity organization who helped in making sure his WAEC exams was taken care of.
“Tears rolling down my cheeks.. with my belly filled with joy and goosebumps all over my body.. I had no cash to write this exam.. and being a Ninja I was helped by @nengiofficial @Ethel_official @oprah_adesuwa @NinjasOutreach today with my all I present my result… I made 3As,” he tweeted.
According to the screenshot of the WAEC result, Itua Raymond Aced his Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics respectively. He also cleared on other subjects, Marketing, Economics, Civil Education, English Language, Agricultural Science and Biology.
