Burna Boy Fights For Nigerian Officials To Be Sanctioned For Killing Unarmed Protesters

Burna Boy despite not being in the country currently has taken it upon himself to ensure that the Nigerian officials are been sanctioned over the killing of unarmed protesters at the Lekki toll gate Tuesday 20th October 2020, as he is seeking for 100 thousand signatures from the UK citizens for this to be tabled by parliament. he twitted;

“Implement sanctions against the Nigerian Government and officials – Petitions! We Need 100k signatures from UK Citizens for this to be tabled by parliament. Please Help is make our Killers pay.”

Burna took to his Twitter page to express his anger, he wrote;

I am in London and I’m doing my best to make sure sanctions are imposed against Nigerian Government Officials. I need all citizens of all European countries, America, Asia EVERYWHERE to please Do the Same. THEY MUST ALL PAY!!

The singer also called out the governor of Lagos state who said in an interview on national tv as well as on his official social media page that there were no fatalities from the shootout at Lekki tollgate Tuesday, October 20th
