Burna Boy Shows Off His Achievements For The Year 2020.

Africa Giant Burna boy has scored himself 20/20 as he took to his Instagram page to recount 20 of his success achieved all through last year, ‘2020.’

Burna shared a seven slide post of his achievements, referred to as “Burna boy 20 in 20.”

Sharing the post on his Instagram page, Burna boy wrote:

“Thankful…..2020 🙏🏾
2021 we’re bringing straight heat.”

He revealed he had 12 live performances and 11 virtual performances in making it a total of 23 concerts in 2020.

Burna also listed out all his certifications on all music platforms.

He had four certified silver in the UK, eight accredited gold, one in the Netherlands, two in Canada, two accredited gold in France, one certified in Austria, and two in Australia. He also bagged one diamond certification in France and eight platinum certifications in the UK, Belgium, Denmark, and France.

He further revealed all his awards in 2020. The singer bagged 19 awards from Afrima, MoBo, Brit Awards, BET, Grammy Awards, The Headies, MVP, Edison, and VGMA.

The Odogwu crooner also bagged five endorsement deals from top brands in the continent.

For his editorial, he featured on 15 musical platforms topping the chart;

At No. 1 on bounce radio and pulse Nigeria

No. 7 on the New York times

No. 8 on vogue India,

No 16 on British GQ,

No 21 on vice,

No 23. The fader,

and NME, no.29 on Pan African music,

 No 37 on the consequence of sound,

 No 41 on Genius, HipHopdx, the line of best and

No 44 Uproxx and

No 46 on pitchfork for best 50 albums in 2020.

He also broke loads of records in the year 2020.

He is the first Nigerian artist to win the dutch Edison award,

first Nigerian artist to be nominated for the brit award,

first Nigerian artist to earn back to back Grammy nominations.

First Nigerian artist to be nominated for Headies, MTV, EMA, BET, MOBO, VGMA, Afrimma, Edison, Brits, and Grammy Awards in the same year.

First Nigerian artiste to chart all album tracks in the UK,

while his album Twice as Tall is the most charted album by a Nigerian artiste with 21 entries.

Burna Boy is the longest-charting Nigerian artiste this decade in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, and the US (world album).
