Celebrity Auto-dealer IVD Threatens to commit suicide weeks after his wife’s death

Celebrity Auto-dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD has threatened to commit suicide weeks after his wife Bimbo died under controversial circumstances.

IVD on his instastories said it’s been a month and a week now and he hasn’t seen his kids. He says life is empty without his wife and kids and that he might as well just end it all.

“Not seen my kids, my girls for a month and 1 week now. After hours if I don’t speak or hear from my kids am taking my life. Life is empty without my wife and kids, why am I still living? Guess it’s time to end it all”, he wrote.

Ikechukwu and Abimbola had been married for 16 years, with the union blessed with five children.

The marriage, however, was fraught with disagreement and alleged domestic violence.

At the climax of their clash, the couple separated and were said to have reunited recently.

However, on Saturday, October 15, there was a fire incident at their Lekki mansion, as Abimbola was caught in the inferno. Bimbo was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit of a Lagos hospital but unfortunately gave up the ghost on Saturday morning.

Series of reports had it that Bimbo started the fire that ended her life, while relatives of the late Bimbo have made several claims and accusations that IVD was the one who pushed her into the flames and was directly responsible for her death.

IVD was later arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in the Yaba area of the state.
