Davido suspends his Aide, Israel DMW over his involvement in Kyari-Hushpuppi Fraud Case
Davido’s Logistics Manager and Aide, Israel DMW has gotten into trouble over his unsolicited opinion and involvement in the Kyari-Hushpuppi fraud case.
Israel DMW took sides with the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari after he was named by the U.S Justice Department in the $1.1million transnational internet fraud involving Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi.
Kyari was accused with proof, of receiving a bribe from Hushpuppi to arrest and jail a member of his online fraud gang identified as Chibuzo Vincent, likewise for being an accessory in the scamming of a Qatari businessman by Hushpuppi and gang. The proof obtained by the FBI was too implicating to extricate Kyari so the Inspector-General of Police Alkali Baba saw the court records and ordered an internal review of the allegations leveled against Kyari.
Despite the evidence on the ground, Israel maintained his stance that Kyari is a clean Cop and anyone who thinks otherwise should show him a saint in Nigeria. In a different post, he said that the phone conversations provided by the FBI aren’t concrete because anyone can call a policeman to report a case. He said the FBI should instead give us a direct link or indicating facts that linked Kyari and Hushpuppi in the $1.1M fraud case.
Israel wrote; “FBI should give us direct link or indicating facts which linked DCP Abba Kyari and Hushpuppi in sharing or benefiting $1.1M dollar investigation under their supervision. Not no communication between him and Hushpuppi on the arrest of Vincent Chibuzo. Anyone can call policemen to report cases. People call a whole IGP on daily basis”.
According to reports, Davido suspended Israel because of his opinion on the Kyari-Hushpuppi fraud case, which always comes with the tag ‘Davido’s Aide’, hence linking Davido to his individual contribution and personal opinions. Following his suspension, he has been asked not to come around or hang out with Davido, for which he promised to change.
The report reads, “He is on suspension because of the things he says on social media which always involves his boss because of the tag ‘Davido’s Aide’. He has been asked not to come around or hang out with Davido. However, Israel has promised to change”.
But the bottom line is that Israel DMW is currently under suspension and therefore not Davido’s logistics manager or a member of his team in the meantime. Anyone who does business with him should note that whatever business they engage in has nothing to do with Mr. David Adeleke or the “DAVIDO” brand.
