D’Banj and 2Baba Team up to serve fans Hot with their Abuja Performance
2face and Dbanj are having a successful career so far, and the duo on stage cannot be questioned as their performances are always scintillating.
The music legends recently teamed up in Abuja to perform at the Wingist Network First Anniversary. Dbanj made this revelation over an Instagram post which he made, asking fans to guess who he performed with.
“Had so much fun last weekend at the Wingst Network One year Anniversary @wingst_restaurant. Guess who I performed with… Answer —- Next Slide”, Koko Master shared.
The next slide had him and 2baba performing on stage. Their performance will be sure to excite fans as they were the two Nigerian music powerhouses of the early 2000s till well late into the decade. Effectively, the Wizkid and Davido of their time.
D’banj and 2baba notably failed to collaborate at the peak of their powers until they came together to candidly take us through a colorful journey in 2019 with their hit single, ‘Baecation’, which inspires heavy feelings of nostalgia. Although a year before that, Larry Gaaga had brought the two legends on a song along with Burna Boy titled ‘Baba Nla’.
The Abuja performance was simply an impressive comeback and proof that they have not lost their flavor.
