DJ Cuppy and Zlatan Ibile finally end their Longtime beef
Nigerian disc jockey, Cuppy has finally made peace with singer, Zlatan Ibile after their longtime rift.
DJ Cuppy and Zlatan a few months ago made the headlines after Afeare Israel also known as Israel DMW, logistics manager to Davido revealed that the rapper did not make any money from his collaboration with DJ cuppy in their hit song ‘Gelato’.
Cuppy accused Isreal DMW of defamations and filed legal proceedings against him.
Cuppy also got into a feud with Zlatan which resulted in them blocking each other on social media platforms. Cuppy took to her social media account some months back to announce that Zlatan blocked her on social media.
“10 months later and I sometimes still wonder why @Zlatan_Ibile blocked me on WhatsApp and Instagram without ever saying why; we were actually friends. And ‘Gelato’ was a hit!” she had written.
Shortly after this, Zlatan denied knowing DJ Cuppy in an interview on The Switch show, when he was asked about the social media blocking.
However, on Sunday, the duo reunited and performed their hit single ‘Gelato’. Before going on the stage, DJ Cuppy said, “I’m about to go on stage and surprise Zlatan. He doesn’t know.”
Sharing a video of their performance, Cuppy tweeted, “Life is too short…Decided to surprise @zlatanibile on stage at his London show”.
