DJ Cuppy is now officially a student of Oxford University
Disk Jockey, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola a.k.a Cuppy is now officially a student of Oxford University in the United Kingdom.
She shared the news of her matriculation on Monday on social media. “Happy Matriculation Day Dj Cuppy at Oxford University”, she tweeted.
On Instagram, she flaunted her Oxford UNI face mask too with the caption,
“HUGE 🤯 Matriculation Day at @Oxford_Uni 🎓🪄 This ceremony confers my membership as a student! Worked my ass off to get in and it’s paid off!”
In another post where the disc jockey adorned her matriculation gown, she further shared her excitement. She wrote, “Black Excellence at Oxford University. Love to see it. Love to be it. It’s OFFICIAL and written in HISTORY! I’ve now been MATRICULATED.”
In March, the singer revealed that she had been accepted into the prestigious Oxford University, England, for a master’s degree in African Studies.
She took to her verified Instagram page to share the news with her fans, as she posted a video of when she informed her parents about the development.
In the video, the Gelato singer said, “Mama and Papa, I have news to share with you. Remember I applied at Oxford last year for my masters? I got it. I am going to Oxford University; I am going to Lady Margaret Hall.”
In another post, the DJ shared a picture of her certificate of offer from the university, which showed that she had been accepted to study African Studies in the school and expected to resume on October 11, 2021.
The 28-year-old philanthropist who is studying for a master’s degree in African studies began attending classes, She also shared the news on her social media platforms.
“First day of classes! 🎓📚 …Officially a full-time student at Oxford University! Wish me luck with my Masters 🤞🏾 #CuppyOnAMission,” the excited new student tweeted with photos from her first day of classes.
This would be her second master’s degree as she bagged one in Music Business from New York University in 2015.
The outrage over Cuppy’s matriculation has got other Nigerians talking as many noted that the Otedolas did not make anyone poor and Cuppy has done nothing to earn the constant trolling. Read some of the comments below:
