Drake discovers he is 30% Nigerian, shares ancestry test

Canadian rapper, singer, and songwriter, Aubrey Drake Graham popularly known by his stage name, Drake has revealed that he is Nigerian.

Drake recently conducted a family ancestry test and discovered that 30% of his roots have been traced back to Nigeria.

The test was carried out on Ancestry.com, an American genealogy website. The DNA analysis further disclosed that Drake’s father, Dennis Graham possesses a 30% Nigerian lineage, making him a descendant of Nigeria as well. He also has a multi-ethnic background, including roots in Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Mali, Benin, and Togo.

Drake who seemed thrilled with the discovery queried, “This is my dad’s result. Does this mean I am a Naija man finally?”
