EFCC allegedly arrests ‘Elon Musk’ crooner, Shallipopi

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Crown Uzama also known as Shallipopi, has been reportedly arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The artiste’s younger brother, Zerry made this known in a message sent to popular blogger, GossipMill.

He said Shallipopi was arrested with his manager during a raid on a hotel where he lodged to rest after a music show in Kaduna state.

Zerry said EFCC operatives seized the ‘Elon Musk’ hit maker’s phone and other personal effects on him.

He cried out to Well-meaning Nigerians to come to his elder brother’s aide as he has allegedly been in the custody of the anti-graft agency for days and they are not permitting Shallipopi to speak to his family or contact his lawyer.

As of the time of this report, neither Shallipopi nor his management have released an official statement.
