Ekene Umenwa welcomes first child with husband
Award-winning Nollywood actress, Ekene Umenwa and her husband are celebrating the arrival of their first child.
In an Instagram post, the actress opened up about her feelings, attributing them to God’s mercy, and described her pregnancy journey as a wonderful experience.
Ekene Umenwa’s announcement followed on the heels of her husband’s birthday.
Ekens had a Virgin Mary-inspired photoshoot. She shared a video that showed her in Catholic attire, cradling her baby bump.
She captioned the video,
“I am truly blessed by the Lord’s mercy. My pregnancy journey was an amazing experience, and I give praise to the Blessed Trinity and honor to Mother Mary, who accompanied me every step of the way. Inspired by a vision I received while praying at the grotto, I am filled with immense joy to dress as Mother Mary, whom I hold dear. Although I feel unworthy to stand in her presence, her mercy has touched me deeply”.
In a recent Instagram post, Destiny Etiko expressed enthusiasm for the couple’s new addition and eagerness to meet their newborn baby.
Etiko wrote “Sis, when you called me and said you’d given birth, I shouted because I know the journey, and I know God has been so good! ???????????? Thanks, God Almighty ????????. Can’t wait to see our baby! ❤️ Congratulations, once again, my beloved sister! ❤️????”.
