Arsenal took their lead at the top of the Premier League table to eight points, following a comfortable 2-0 win over Tottenham in Sunday’s North London derby away at White Hart Lane.
A 14th minute own goal from Tottenham’s keeper, Hugo Lloris, gave Mikel Arterta’s side the lead.
Gunners’ captain, Martin Odegaard doubled the lead in the 36th minute.
Spur couldn’t find their way back into the game as Arsenal pocketed a well deserved three points, to strengthen their title chase.
Chelsea 1 – 0 Crystal Palace
Elsewhere in London, Chelsea secured a lone goal victory over Crystal Palace.
Though the result didn’t take them out of the tenth, it was much needed, especially in view of their recent dip in form.
