EPL: Five star performance sends Arsenal back to table top

Arsenal shook off their defeat to PSV in the Europa League last Thursday with a solid 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the EPL at the Emirates, to retain their spot at the top of the table.

Forest, who handed Liverpool defeat last weekend, were toothless against a rampant Arsenal.

Gabriel Martinelli out the Gunners in front five minutes into the game, an advantage they maintained into the break.

After the break, substitute, Reiss Nelson, who came on for an injured Saka, bagged a brace, before Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard increased the deficit.

Beyond taking them back to the top of the table, the landmark victory was also Arsenal’s 300th win at the Emirates Stadium.
