EPL: Manchester United sees off Tottenham in dominant display

Manchester United put up a terrific performance, one of their best so far, under new manager, Erik Ten Hag to defeat Antonio Conte’s Tottenham at Old Trafford.

Despite being the better side, with 19 shots at goal, United failed to get a goal in the first half of the game, mostly due to Hugo Lloris’s heroics between the sticks.

However, after the break, the host found a break through, thanks to Fred’s deflected shot, before Bruno Fernandes sent home the second goal.

The 2-0 scorelines doesn’t equal United’s overall performance but the three points is the most important take.

The result leaves Ten Hag’s men at fifth on the log, eight points behind table toppers, Arsenal, while Spurs remain in third place.
