Europa League: Barcelona, Manchester United play out draw in thrilling encounter

Manchester United came from a goal down to pulling out a 2-2 draw against Barcelona in a spirited first leg encounter of their Europa League play off at the Nou Camp. 

Xavi’s side broke the deadlock after the break through Marcos Alonso’s header, but United got a swift response, thanks to Marcus Rashford’s narrow finish. 

Ten Hag’s men kept the pressure on which resulted in an own goal from Jules Kounde, however, the visitors failed to maintain or build on the lead, as Raphinha grabbed an equalizer for the host.

The return leg of the fixture will be played next week Thursday at Old Trafford.
