Ex-BBNaija Housemates, Whitemoney, Saga, Others Back out from Dubai Trip Sponsored by Pepsi

Pepsi recently made the headlines, after former Big Brother Naija, ‘LockDown’ housemate, Trikytee called them out for an unfulfilled promise of an all-expense-paid trip to Dubai for a music festival and a year supply of Pepsi beverages. However, the motion was countered after the most recent ex-housemates started preparing for their own trip to Dubai, sponsored by the same beverage company, Pepsi.

The former Shine Ya Eye housemates, Whitemoney, Cross, Michael, Saga and others were set to make an appearance at the One Africa Music Fest in Dubai. They shared pictures and videos of themselves at the airport until things took a shocking twist when they began complaining about the aircraft provided for them, among many other things.

According to videos shared, the plane seemed to be below standard and the former housemates had their high spirits deflated after what they expected to be a sponsored trip to Dubai fell way below their expectations.

Tega while on the plane went live to show how compacted and uncomfortable the flight is. Saga on his part made a video of some housemates who refused to board the plane while Michael expressed utmost disappointment.

While some continued the journey to Dubai, the likes of Whitemoney, Cross, Saga, Emmanuel, and Erica refused to join the plane as they headed back to their houses.

Meanwhile, here’s how Netizens are reacting to their decision to back out of the sponsored trip:

Its.aabike: “White money no dey smile again too.”

Josomiriam: “It’s those who still travelled for me…even if they are squatting by the window na to enter Dubai las las.”

Cute_diplomat: “It’s the entitlement for me. If you were to buy yourselves tickets. Which one would you afford to buy? This BBNAIJA people sef!!”

Feremusumacia: “I dnt understand, So because she is given a paid trip she can’t complain when things are not right. Pepsi promise them first class trip and they worked for the trip back then in the house So everyone can talk when it comes to Tega una dae insult am up and down.”

Taadahh_: “Lol how is she being ungrateful??? This what has gotten us Africans to where we are today. Pepsi said business class ticket, that was what was promised. In a normal and functioning country, they could be sued and rightfully so. That is why ONE will promise a housemate 100k dollars and won’t fulfil it or Guinness and trips they promised other housemates, the list goes on.”
