Fancy Acholonu confirms the end of her relationship with Alex Ekubo
At the early hours of yesterday, the internet was buzzing with rumours that our all-time favourite celebrity couple, Fancy Acholonu and Alex Ekubo have broken up. Although, they were mere speculations by Netizens who noticed that Fancy deleted all the pictures from their engagement on social media, likewise unfollowed and blocked Ekubo on Instagram.
Responding to these speculations, Fancy officially announced that she has ended her relationship, engagement and called off her wedding with Alex Ekubo. She said that even if the public is shocked at this update, she made the best decision for herself because it is important that everyone finds their own happiness. She also beckoned on her family and friends to respect their decision and privacy.
Confirming the breakup, Fancy wrote, “Hey guys, I’m writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship, engagement, and I have called off the wedding with Alexx Ekubo.
I’m aware that this may be a shock to many people. I made the best decision for myself because it is important that everyone finds their happiness and live in their truth. At this time, my family and I ask for you all to please respect our privacy. Thank you so much.”
The now-estranged couple got engaged in May 2021 and their traditional wedding ceremony was originally scheduled for November 20, 2021, while the white wedding was to hold on November 27, 2021.
Alex has not released an official statement but he still follows Fancy on Instagram.
