Funke Akindele deletes all PDP political posts from her Instagram page

Funke Akindele, Nollywood Actress and Lagos state deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has deleted all political posts from her Instagram page.

Taking a look at Funke’s Instagram page it was noticed that deleted all political posts concerning herself and her principal, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran better known as Jandor after they contested under the People’s Democratic Party for governorship and deputy governorship positions in Lagos state.

This is coming after Akindele, who had boasted over her millions of followers on social media lost her polling unit 019, Ita Aro square, Àga/Ijimu ward in Ikorodu, Lagos State to the incumbent governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to the results collated from the polling unit, PDP secured a total of 19 votes while APC scored 77 votes. Labour Party polled 3 votes.

Following the recent development, Yoruba actor Sanni Alesh penned a warming tribute to Funke Akindele for breaking another Nollywood history.

Sanni Alesh praised Funke Akindele for her courage, personality, goal-setter and much-desired lifestyle.

He wrote, “Aunty Funke. I have so much to say about you ⭐️ your lifestyle, your courage, your personality ❤️ you a goal getter 👏 so proud of you always @funkejenifaakindele.

“She came… She saw… She learnt thru the pain, the huge loss she spent and was spent, then she conquered, she conquered because she is the first actress to even dare to have her name on a ballot, History has been made…
