Funke Akindele finally opens up on her separation from JJC Skillz

Nollywood Actress cum deputy governorship candidate, Funke Akindele has for the first time opened up on her separation from her husband of 7 years, Abdul Rasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz.

News of their separation first hit the internet in June, with several stories and allegations being the bane of their separation. 

Later in September, JJC Skillz confirmed their separation, whilst stating that Akindele had asked him to leave her residence and refused to discuss the relationship with him.

He said while they “shared a lot of things together”, their marriage was beyond repair even if he has tried to “fix things”, and is now seeking ways for them to co-parent and manage their joint business.

In a recent interview with Legit.ng, Funke Akindele opened up on her split from her ex-husband, JJC Skillz. 

According to her, their dreams and vision of what their marriage should be like are no longer aligned.

She added that all efforts ti make it work fell on deaf ears, hence, their decision to split.

“Well, the truth is our dreams and vision of what our marriage should be just no longer aligned. And efforts to make it work all fell on deaf ears, so why hang around?”

Funke and JJC Skillz have twin boys together.
