Genevieve Nnaji Reportedly down with Mental issues, Hospitalized in Houston Texas

Popular Nollywood veteran, Genevieve Nnaji has been reported to be down with mental issues, days after she deleted all her Instagram posts and unfollowed everyone on Instagram.

Genevieve Nnaji, who marked her birthday on May 3, was celebrated across all social media platforms, but the actress didn’t respond to any of the messages, which is quite unusual. Celebrating her birthday ‘in silence’ raised eyebrows and different theories were made by her fans who expressed worry that all is not well with Genevieve, as she was totally absent from the online world.

It became noticeable on Monday, May 9 that the actress had deleted all her posts on Instagram, leaving her over eight million followers worried over her continuous social media silence.

Genevieve has always been one who enjoys keeping a low profile, a feat she has been able to uphold successfully for many years. However, in March 2022, Genevieve began to drop cryptic and worrisome posts on her social media platform. She began making posts on her Instagram stories, urging Nigerians to move closer to God. Genny also claimed “mental health is more spiritual than physical”.

She also made another disturbing post which was a video of the Quran, a praying mat and a grave. The post stated that ‘every soul will taste death’.

On April 20, 2022 Genevieve Nnaji (among other actresses) was called out for being absent from her friend and colleague, Rita Dominic’s wedding. Genny was also dragged for neither acknowledging nor celebrating Rita, which also sparked rumors that something was off with the actress.

To cap it all, on May 3, 2022, when the actress clocked 43, she didn’t make a single post about it, 

To confirm the rumoured speculations, controversial blogger, Gistlover alleged that the actress is suffering from a mental issue, psychosis, and has been undergoing treatment in Houston, Texas, which name was withheld for privacy purposes.

Gistlover claimed that the actress had a mental breakdown and had tattooed a cross on her body with a blade. The blogger also alleged that her mental breakdown was a result of drug abuse. According to the blog, her team members are trying to hide the news and were responsible for deleting all her Instagram posts.

According to information reaching vawulence headquarters, the actress us currently does with ment issue and currently taking treatment in Houston, Texas. Genevieve has been admitted for psychosis in a hospital in Texas (Name withheld) she went loco some months ago they are hiding the info like say tomorrow no dey and we can’t help but tell her fans so they can put her in prayers. Fans has been questioning her weird attitude of recent on Instagram and the fans has been cuteness, some are even dragging her that she is proud, why can she unfollow everyone, bla bla bla, the truth is they had to take her phone from her and archive all her post. CN you remember when she was posting plenty random weird stuffs? Then she tattooed a cross on her wrist with a blade, was so terrible that they had to keep an eye on her. She was admitted sometimes this year and we hope she recovers fast, her media aid are really working overtime to keep the story out of the public but I feel they should let the world know so they can out her in their prayers and not drag her unnecessarily, they can come out to debunk it oo, but it is what it is, they know the truth, sometimes I feel fame demands too much from these celebrities, because what she find, get charisma, has one of the best brand for Nollywood, why drug again? Why??? I think say Na only lesbianism we go tackle for her body, not knowing the one wey senior lesbianism dey her body. I remember then wey Genevieve go invite girls over for her pleasure, tell them to submit phone for her gate, you dare not come in with your phone, now this again, LoRD take charge is fame really worth ones life, is it worth the stress, I coke in peace oooo. Also, a certain US-based Nurse with the username Silfeese confirmed the rumor of Genevieve Nnaji battling a mental breakdown. The nurse claimed she was in the know for 3months but couldn’t say anything about it because it is against her professional ethics, and also because she feels for Genevieve.

Following the report, some Nigerians took the comment section to react. Some blamed her for abusing drugs while others prayed for her quick recovery.
