Goldenboy CEO Denies Involvement in Peruzzi’s EP Leak

A new EP titled ‘The Leaktape’ presumably by DMW star artist, Peruzzi recently showed up on all streaming platforms.

Peruzzi just dropped his sophomore album, ‘Rum and Boogie’and shortly after, his EP suddenly shows up online, having GoldenBoy Entertainment as the distributor of the EP.

Although the songs on it proved sufficiently that it was indeed Peruzzi, the artwork and the sound were suspected to be a project from years back.

The CEO of Peruzzi’s former label Goldenboy Entertainment, King Patrick has however, denied any involvement in leaking the singer’s old mixtape, as alleged. He responded via his Twitter page, saying that the singer has no rights over the projects and should not be bothered about it either way as they’re protected under copyright laws. He further promised to look into the leak. In his words;

“Don’t know anything about any “Leaktape by Peruzzi”. Either way, he has no rights over the records and should mind his business accordingly because they’re protected under Copyright laws. My Copyright. Will definitely look into it”.

GoldenBoy Entertainment was Peruzzi’s old label before joining DMW. It was earlier reported that the owner of GoldenBoy Entertainment called out Peruzzi online, alleging they still have a contract together. Possibly, this ‘Leaktape’ is one of the alleged contracts.
