Superstar and Grammy award-winning artist, Burnaboy has sparked mixed reactions on social media after he disclosed his search for a young artiste to take over from him.
The talented singer, via his Twitter account, revealed that he is in search of a young artiste that matches his spirit to hand over to. One who possesses similar qualities to match his musical prowess, one who he can confidently hand over to without regrets or worries.
In his words, “I dey pray for just one young nigga wey get my spirit make I hand over give am. I know say God go lead me to am soon.”
In reaction to this, fans have given their views regarding his plea. While some questioned him on the whereabouts of his young signee, Buju saying that he was a better option and his spirit matches with that of Burnaboy.
Others advised he hands over to his fellow Grammy winner, Wizkid. This suggestion however received criticisms as people argued that Wizkid is older than him in age and in music.
