Hollywood Actress Emma Roberts And Boyfriend Garrett Hedlund Welcome First Child.
American actress and singer Emma Rose Roberts and her actor boyfriend Garret Hedlund have welcomed their first child.
The actress and her boyfriend, who have been dating since March 2019, welcomed their son ‘Rhodes’ on Sunday, December 27.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the Holidate actress talked about how her “undiagnosed endometriosis” instilled fear in her saying she would never be able to have children. She said
“[the endometriosis] had affected my fertility. I was told, ‘You should probably freeze your eggs or look into other options…’ When I found out about my fertility, I was kind of stunned. It felt so permanent, and oddly, I felt like I had done something wrong.”
She continued;
“Ever since I was little, I wanted to have a baby, in theory. When I was a kid, I begged my mom to have another baby. The day she brought my sister home from the hospital, I remember holding her, wanting to dress and play with her.”
“At 16, I thought, By the time I’m 24, I’ll be married with kids. And then I was 24 and I was like, Remember when I said I would be married with kids by now? With work, especially with acting—the travel, the hours—it’s not always conducive to settling down in a traditional way,” she stated.
Twenty-nine years Emma Roberts and 36-year-old Garrett Hedlund are yet to make an official announcement on welcoming their baby. In early August, Emma announced her pregnancy, and in October, they had a baby shower.
