I am Mr. Mom, says Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh

It is only in a country like Nigeria that single mothers are also celebrated both on father’s day and mother’s day.

Father’s day is a day set aside for honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds as well as the influence of fathers in society. While mother’s day is a day set aside for celebrating and honoring motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in society.

Most Nigerians seems not to understand the above meaning of father’s day and mother’s day finding it difficult to differentiate each as single mothers are now being celebrates on father’s day.

This has drawn a big war on social media as men have decided to leave the day for single mothers. But amid this, Adewale Adeleke is not taking it likely as he called out single mothers.

Most single mothers took a time out to pen down a heartfelt message to themselves, to drop a happy father’s day note.

Nollywood actress tonto Dikeh is an example as she pours out her heart to herself. For Tonto she is both the father and the mother to her son Andre as she calls herself Mr. Mom in her post
wishing herself happy father’s day.

On the other hand, her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill also took a journey to his fatherhood wishing himself a happy father’s day hoping that someday he will get back what’s he’s.
