Nigerian singer, Harrison Okiri popularly known as Harrysong, has made a U-turn on his allegations against music executive, Soso Soberekon.
Harrysong had earlier accused Soberekon of making an attempt on his life, during an interview on the Frankly Speaking podcast partly hosted by comedian, Nedu Wazobia.
“If you see Soso now you’ll say Soso na my friend. Soso is not my friend, Soso is my enemy. He sent people to come and kill me in Port Harcourt, no jokes. Ask my team, ask everyone,” he said in the episode which aired last week.
The singer was later arrested following his allegations against Soberekon, which he claimed he had evidence of.
In a recent statement in a video posted on his Instagram page, Harrysong said that he now has clarity of he people who made an attempt on his life, and it wasn’t Soberekon as he had thought.
He also thanked everyone who reached out to him in his moment of crisis.
In his words,
“About the video that was trending last week that some group of boys made an attempt on my life, yes it was true. It was a group of boys that were misled, I now have clarity, it wasn’t Soso who sent them.
“I and Soso are good now, so guys thanks to everyone that reached out”.
