“I prefer dating older men”- Beverly Osu

Nollywood actress Beverly Ada Mary Osu has opened up about weird reasons why she prefers dating older men to younger men.

In a revealing sit-down with Chude Jideonwo on With Chude, the former Big Brother Africa star shared her reasons for choosing older men over younger ones when it comes to relationships. For Beverly, the choice isn’t just about age, but about what she desires from a partner emotionally and financially.

“I still date men who are older than me, but the older men that I have dated were just my boyfriends, and there was nothing like a serious relationship between us,” she said.

Beverly didn’t mince words when she explained that her needs and expectations simply don’t align with what most younger men offer.

“I love attention and quality time with a man. That’s why I can’t date a younger guy or even someone my age. I want someone who can give me money and feed me. I don’t know how to pretend to love somebody, and I don’t want to be indebted to any man.”

The actress also touched on her past experiences dating married men, admitting that the arrangement didn’t sit well with her values and personality.

“Dating another woman’s husband has never worked out for me. I don’t want to be another woman’s sadness. I don’t know how to pretend around anyone.”

Her comments stirred reactions online, with many applauding her for being transparent about her desires, while others criticized her stance. But Beverly remains unapologetic, standing firmly in her truth about what she wants and doesn’t want in a relationship.
