“I regret not doing fraud” – Actor Aremu Afolayan

Nollywood actor, Aremu Afolayan has expressed his regrets for not getting involved in fraud when he had the chance to. He expressed his frustration with the current economy of the country as he stated that legitimate means of earning a living are not enough to sustain a layman.

Taking to his Instagram page, he stressed how running a legitimate business feels useless in this era and stated that he regrets not being involved in internet fraud widely known as “yahoo yahoo”.

He wrote:

“All of the days wey dem dey talk about yahoo yahoo, na today I regret pass say I no do am. Legitimate hustling never felt super useless #aremuafolayan.”

Aremu is not the only actor who has cried out over the current hardship in the country. Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko recently came under heavy fire for her comment on the hardship of the country. In an Instagram post, Destiny Etiko lamented that fuel now costs ₦1,200 per litre making livelihood difficult.

According the actress, she had thought the protest which took place in the country on August 1st would yield result however, there have been no change.

She wrote:

“Fuel is now #1200 What is going on BIKONU I Honestly thought the protest was going to help salvage this economic hardship in this country It’s becoming too hard for a Normal Layman to eat three square meal Niger which way.”

Her comment although harmless enraged a lot of Nigerians who took to her comment section to blast her. Recall that Nigerians embarked on an end bad government protest which lasted for a week and only but a few celebrities joined in the protest.
