JJC Skillz’s son, Benito has been vindicated, as the truth was finally made known amidst a series of bashing and denial.

Benito had earlier revealed during an Instagram live session with blogger Tosin Silverdam that Funke Akindele and JJC Skillz’s marriage had hit the rock.

Benito disclosed that his father and Funke Akindele were no longer living together. They had also cheated on themselves on several occasions.

In his words: “They are not really together. They both cheat on each other, and they both had a fight. My dad is practically living somewhere else. I don’t even have any care for them no more. I can’t talk for them as a couple anymore. I can only say what I have seen. They are in an open relationship.”

Benito had alleged that his experience with the actress was “horrible”. “She’s not what you all think she is, I lived with her for two years, it was horror,” he claimed. He added that his stepmother isn’t who she paints herself to be in the public eyes.

This earned him criticism as netizens blasted him for being disrespectful to Funke Akindele and his father, JJC Skillz.

After months of countless back and forth, JJC Skillz decided to put out in the public, the end of his marriage  to Funke Akindele.

“Dear friends and family I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated. While it lasted we shared a lot of things together and have created 2 beautiful children. The last two years have been extremely difficult. The last two years have been extremely difficult for us. I know I have tried my best fix things but I believe it is beyond repair now. 3 months ago and at Funkes insistence. I moved out of the house and apart from AMVCA have not been able to get Funke to sit down in an amicable matter to discuss the future of our relationship. I’m making this announcement so that the public is clear that we both are pursuing separate lives. We still have issues that need to be addressed such as custody and wellbeing of our children which is paramount as well as business interest which need to be disentangled but I have no doubt that these will be resolved one way or the other”, JJC said.

In response to this, Benito immediately shared a video on Instagram accompanied by an instastory with the caption, “I spoke the truth mehnnn”.
