“I Still Love Johnny Depp”- Amber Rose Confesses on Air
Amber Rose has confessed in a live interview, that her estranged husband, Johnny Depp still has a special place in her heart.
Just two weeks after losing an intense, six-week defamation trial, Heard shared she still has feelings for her ex-husband.
“I love him. I loved him with all my heart,” she told NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie in the second installment of her Today show interview. “And I tried the best I could to make a deeply broken relationship work. And, I couldn’t. I have no bad feelings or ill will towards him at all.”
Heard was found liable of defaming Depp in one of the most talked-about and highly divisive court cases of the year. After everything she put the world through, the actress still wants to create a certain sense of empathy toward her.
When asked by Guthrie if she thought that Johnny Depp had succeeded in completely humiliating her, Heard shared: “It feels as though he has.”
“I’m not a good victim, I get it. I’m not a likable victim. I’m not a perfect victim,” she said. “When I testified, I asked the jury to just see me as human and hear his own words, which is a promise to do this.”
“I’m scared that no matter what I do, no matter what I say and how I say it, every step that I take will present another opportunity for this sort of silencing, which is what I guess a defamation lawsuit is meant to do,” Heard said. “It’s meant to take your voice.”
Heard added, “I feel like so much of the trial was meant to cast aspersions on who I am as a human, my credibility, to call me a liar in every way he can.”
This might be a ploy to appeal to the public so they allow her to continue with her life. Losing this trial has been the single biggest defeat for her and it also didn’t help improve the overall relationship between men and women.
